ebecca Rushing, previously Rebecca Grelier managed to turn a passion into a long standing
career, which is ordinarily hard to come by. During her childhood years, she studied at a pri-
vate college preparatory school for young women in New Orleans, furthering her education
at the University of Alabama, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Accounting in 1992.
She landed her first job as an Auditor at Arthur Anderson in New Orleans before moving to Birming-
ham, AL to pursue a Controller position at Sonat.
Even during the time of a secure position at a well-established company, Rebecca pursued a more
challenging position where in 1998 only 6 years after graduating from college, she became the Chief
Financial Officer (CFO) at the Ledges Country Club in Huntsville, AL.
During that time as the CFO of the country club in Huntsville, she decided to start something of her
own. In 2002, she founded Queen Bee of Beverly Hills.
Queen Bee of Beverly Hills launched quickly and dominated the luxury goods resell industry. During
her time traveling to European countries for leisure, she noticed the high demand of designer hand-
bag and accessories from major Italian brands, and the lack of accessibility of them in the United
States. She then formed permanent relationships with leading brands such as Gucci, Prada, Yves Saint
Laurent and Fendi, purchasing large quantities of overstocks directly from the fashion houses in Eu-
rope and selling them online and in her showroom in Beverly Hills, CA.
Since her business surpassed all of her expectations success wise, she closed her showroom in Beverly
Hills and focused solely on the e-commerce portion of her business where she moved to Alabama to
raise a family. Even as a hard-working mother of her two boys, Jackson and Alexander, she turned
Queen Bee of Beverly Hills into an e-commerce powerhouse and re-opened a showroom in Huntsville,
AL – which is where the Head Quarters of Queen Bee resides.
