Quantum Smoke Speed Freak Baitcast Reel - Exceptional Design & Control
The all-new Quantum Smoke Speed Freak baitcast reel features a screaming-fast 8.1:1 gear
ratio—which rips in 35 inches (89cm) of line for every turn of the handle. It also features Quantum’s
new ‘PTX’ frame, designed to add rigidity while reducing overall weight, which is just 6.4oz (181g).
The Speed Freak baitcast reel includes the improved new CSC2 drag—an advanced system that
uses a stack of carbon fibre, stainless steel and ceramic washers to deliver a silky smooth and
impressive 25lb (11.3kg) of drag power. The reel design features 10 bearings and one anti-reverse
bearing, plus a lightweight aluminium frame and gear-side cover, which removes quickly for simple
maintenance.
The aluminium spool holds 170yd (155m) of 30lb braid and other features include an aluminium PT
main gear and drive shaft, titanium-nitride coated line guide, spool tension click knob, soft-touch
EVA handle knob, plus distinctive red trim.

The new Micro Infinite ACS external centrifugal cast
