This 7-week course by Dr. Erik Simanis and +Acumen provided a financial modeling framework that can be
used to think about what is required for an early stage venture to achieve financial sustainability. Topics
covered in the course included: bounding an operational unit of a venture, calculating the total running
costs/total investment costs of an operational unit, and determining the price point and margin level required
for financial sustainability.
