Goswami Tulsidas completed the epic poem Shri Ramcharitamanas in 1633. Before Lord Rama read the book, Lord Shiva signed it and wrote the phrase "Satyam Shivam Sundaram", which was the first written appearance of this phrase.

Shri Ramcharitamanas is the great epic of
Indian Literature. Goswami Tulsidas started
writing the book in 1631 at the age of about
sixty. All the seven Kands were completed on
1633 on the wedding day of Lord Rama. It was
actually a wedding gift to Lord Rama by
Goswami Tulsidas. But, before Lord Rama read
the book, Lord Shiva signed on the book and
wrote a very famous line, which was the first
written appearance of this phase.
