If you are an IRS Enrolled Agent submitting an approved course for Continuing Education credit, please note that CE credit is only given for full contact hours, or multiple thereof.
A contact hour is 50 minutes in length. Circular 230 requires delivery in one hour increments (one hour = 50 minutes). If you have been awarded fractional credit you will need to
round down to the nearest whole number (5.5 would be rounded down to 5) before submitting credit to the IRS.
If you instruct an IRS CE Approved program the maximum IRS continuing education credit for instruction and preparation may not exceed six hours annually.
