"Of course, you prefer to take players who are fully fit, but that's okay. We want to wait and be patient for some players even if they cannot play in those first matches," he told a press conference. The 37-year-old Vertonghen, Belgium’s Euro Cup 2024 most-capped international with 154 appearances, is struggling to shake off a groin injury.
"He will be there normally. This also applies to Youri Tielemans and Arthur Theate. The latter's position is very sensitive. We don't have many choices at left back. "It will only change if it turns out that they will only be available when, say, the final of the Euro 2024 Championship comes around. That's too long to wait. "However, I am confident that the injured boys are on track for the Euros.
Belgium vs Romania: Radu Dragusin Prepares for Crucial Role in Euro Cup Germany
Some of them have taken not one but two steps forward in their rehabilitation," he said. None of the injured players will feature in this week’s warm-up friendlies against Montenegro and Luxembourg. Romania centre-back Radu Dragusin found chances limited at Tottenham Hotspur in the second half of the 2023-24 season.
But is crucial to his country's cause at UEFA Euro 2024 where his aerial ability, physicality and hard graft make him a standout player. The 22-year-old moved to North London from Italian side Genoa in January but was kept on the sidelines by the form of another new arrival for the season, Mickey van de Ven, something Romania coach Edward Iordanescu admitted was a concern.
It will mean limited game-time going into the finals, but Dragusin, who cites Netherlands defender Virgil van Dijk as a role model, started every Euro Cup Germany qualifier as Romania went through the campaign unbeaten in their 10 games. He will be among their most important players in their first game in Germany against Ukraine in Munich on June 17, taking the right centre-back role in what is likely to be a back four.

Slide 3:
But now, the day is marred by frustration. The excitement wanes as you struggle to find a parking spot. The congestion is overwhelming, and tempers flare. The delays mean you miss the pre-game excitement, the tailgate camaraderie, and even the opening kick-off. The gridlock, honking horns, and endless waiting drain the energy and joy from what should have been an unforgettable experience.
Our proposal aims to eliminate these frustrations, ensuring that from arrival to departure, your experience is extraordinary. Efficient parking and smooth traffic flow are key to maintaining the high spirits and excitement that make game days special.

In this piece, we delve into the significant trends set to influence the look and functionality of product design in the year 2024.
How Race, Age and Gender Shape Attitudes Towards Mental HealthThinkNow
Mental health has been in the news quite a bit lately. Dozens of U.S. states are currently suing Meta for contributing to the youth mental health crisis by inserting addictive features into their products, while the U.S. Surgeon General is touring the nation to bring awareness to the growing epidemic of loneliness and isolation. The country has endured periods of low national morale, such as in the 1970s when high inflation and the energy crisis worsened public sentiment following the Vietnam War. The current mood, however, feels different. Gallup recently reported that national mental health is at an all-time low, with few bright spots to lift spirits.
To better understand how Americans are feeling and their attitudes towards mental health in general, ThinkNow conducted a nationally representative quantitative survey of 1,500 respondents and found some interesting differences among ethnic, age and gender groups.
Technology
For example, 52% agree that technology and social media have a negative impact on mental health, but when broken out by race, 61% of Whites felt technology had a negative effect, and only 48% of Hispanics thought it did.
While technology has helped us keep in touch with friends and family in faraway places, it appears to have degraded our ability to connect in person. Staying connected online is a double-edged sword since the same news feed that brings us pictures of the grandkids and fluffy kittens also feeds us news about the wars in Israel and Ukraine, the dysfunction in Washington, the latest mass shooting and the climate crisis.
Hispanics may have a built-in defense against the isolation technology breeds, owing to their large, multigenerational households, strong social support systems, and tendency to use social media to stay connected with relatives abroad.
Age and Gender
When asked how individuals rate their mental health, men rate it higher than women by 11 percentage points, and Baby Boomers rank it highest at 83%, saying it’s good or excellent vs. 57% of Gen Z saying the same.
Gen Z spends the most amount of time on social media, so the notion that social media negatively affects mental health appears to be correlated. Unfortunately, Gen Z is also the generation that’s least comfortable discussing mental health concerns with healthcare professionals. Only 40% of them state they’re comfortable discussing their issues with a professional compared to 60% of Millennials and 65% of Boomers.
Race Affects Attitudes
As seen in previous research conducted by ThinkNow, Asian Americans lag other groups when it comes to awareness of mental health issues. Twenty-four percent of Asian Americans believe that having a mental health issue is a sign of weakness compared to the 16% average for all groups. Asians are also considerably less likely to be aware of mental health services in their communities (42% vs. 55%) and most likely to seek out information on social media (51% vs. 35%).

UFC + FOX TV Deal Announcement
August 2011
Boxing was a true part of American Culture during the 1970’s and 80’s. The sport had
a consistent presence on national television; my generation was extremely lucky to
have been treated to so many classic fights. I’m stoked that the UFC finally has the
same platform to showcase their talent.
Ladies and gentlemen it’s my pleasure to announce this landmark deal between two of the
most powerful companies in the sports industry. The UFC and FOX will now be working
together to push our great sport to new heights.
We are thrilled to welcome MMA into the FOX Sports family; the UFC will be in good
company alongside the NFL, MLB, and NASCAR. Our initial partnership will consist of a
seven year term; live programming will be televised across our various network outlets.
When you look at the figures the UFC’s pulling in, it’s huge. In terms of what MMA currently is
and what it will become, we envision an exciting future. In an effort to expedite the transition
process,we at FOX have purchased the UFC’s remaining contract with SPIKEtv; in full, no
strings attached.
Listen, guys we’ve been saying it forever; we believe the UFC will one day be bigger
than soccer. This deal with FOX is an enormous step in the right direction; we look
forward to helping FOX Sports prosper.
To be officially recognized as a partner with a company such as FOX brings me great
satisfaction. It’s validating knowing we’re on board with a company that also broadcasts
Major League Baseball; we’ve truly come along way.
As Dana mentioned, our goal is to expand globally; continuing to break “market records” in
all countries we visit. With FOX on our side, it’s time to put our vision into practice.
2. www.lineagelogistics.com McAllen, TX – (956) 687-9501
We’ve always been a PPV company; let’s face it; that’s how we built this empire. Through
consistent consumer purchases; we turned an obscure blood-sport into a flourishing sports
enterprise.
Our current landscape is far different than the one we once operated in; at the time PPV was
necessary for staying alive. A major driving force in our transition to national television is the
fact that we feel America is finally ready to accept MMA as a legitimate sport.
Although PPV was once king, it will take on a slightly less significant role in our new
business model. While its benefits for the company and athletes will be ever present,it is the
fans that truly gain the most from this deal. We’ve been ironing out a system that will
showcase our best fights across our new platforms: PPV,Cable, and National TV.
At the end of the day we all want to feellike winners; what good is it to do business with 100
people if 10 feelthey got a raw deal? With these protocols in place; we firmly believe the
fans, athletes, our partners, and staff will benefit immensely.
We’ve agreed to short list of “Promotional Broadcast Protocols”; we believe this formula is
the best way to usher in the UFC’s newest era. FuelTV is now the official home for all
event prelims and TUF. Full event replays will be available on Fuel TV exactly one week
after their initial airing. Fight Nights will now be broadcast in higher frequency on FX.
PPVs will only be headlined by reigning champions.
All current title holders will have their upcoming bouts on FOX; that’s right; all UFC
champions will defend their titles on free TV in the near future.
To elaborate, all future champions will have to defend their titles on FOX before they can be
eligible to headline a PPV. FOXcards are reserved for a champion’s first title defense.
Simply put, your first title defense is on FOX; if you’re successfulit’s on to PPV for you.
We believe it would be unfair to our unnamed champions of the future and to the titles
themselves if our current crop of talent didn’t adhere to the same broadcast standards. FOX
events are now the proving grounds for PPV:it’s where titleholders become champions.
All future primetime and countdown shows will be televised on FOX and FOX only.
FOX Sports is America’s No. 1 sports network and FOX is the No. 1 network for young adults,
the UFC on FOX is a perfect match. Over severalthink tank meetings, my colleges and our
new partners are pleased to unveil our blue print for the future of MMA. We’ve constructed a
set of event broadcast protocols that will skyrocket the UFC’s popularity amongst casual
American Sports Fans.

In the case of Interim Championships; all IC-fights will also be televised on FOX.
If an Interim Champion is promoted to Undisputed Champion; said champion will still
have to defend the title on FOX to qualify as a PPV headliner.
It’s worth mentioning that in order to put on a “Night of Champions” event (a PPV with
multiple title fights); all champions must have had successfultitle defenses on FOX.
We’ve got some big plans for the future. Who knows, we might see some new divisions enter
the octagon. In the case of new divisions and vacant titles their particular protocols are
identical.
If a new division were to be introduced, the inaugural title fight would be on FOX.
If the belt is relinquished or the champion is stripped of the crown; the vacant title will be
contested on FOX.
Defending the new crown on FOX would officially complete the division’s integration
process.
Defending a formerly vacant title on FOX would truly legitimize said champion.
We’d like to thank you for your time folks; we look forward to seeing you cage side on
FOX in the near future.
Wow, incredible stuff. I personally cannot wait to see how this new deal pans out. I
find the “Promotional Broadcast Protocols” almost as fascinating as the FOX deal
itself; I wonder what kind of impact it will have on the organization.
I’m excited and privileged to cover the sport as it transitions to a new era. That about
does it here; for mmafighting, I’m Ariel Helwani.

FS1, FS2, & Fight Pass Announcement
August 2013
Ladies and gentlemen; we are pleased to make this network announcement on behalf of FOX.
Our relationship with the media company has been sterling; we’ve put up respectable TV
numbers on a consistent basis.
What was once a motorsports network, “Speed” will now be Fox Sports 1; we’re hopeful that
with our help FS1 can become the media hub for American Sports. Although we enjoyed our
stay on FX; in a couple of weeks Fox Sports 1 will be the official home for UFC Fight
Nights.
Fuel TV has undergone some changes as well; the station has been rebranded and will be
known as Fox Sports 2. FS2 will now be the UFC’s official home for all preliminary bouts.
Full event replays will be available for your viewing pleasure one week after its initial airing
(FS2).
With these major shifts occurring, we feelnow is the best time to announce a project we’ve
been working on for quite some time. If you love movies, you’ve probably got Netflix. If
you love TV shows, you’ve probably got Hulu Plus. If you love MMA, you’re probably
going to have UFC: Fight Pass.
Fight Pass,is a digital subscription service; it’s essentially our Netflix. We feelwe can reach
a global audience with this digital network. Fans will have access to our entire fight library
which includes all UFC, Strikeforce, WEC, and PRIDE events. Fight Pass will be the
official home for The Ultimate Fighter; this applies both international and domestic TUF
seasons. Our launch date is scheduled for January of this upcoming year; we look forward to
seeing you online!
