The document discusses the formulation and optimization of thiol-vinyl systems as ophthalmic adhesives. The goals of the project are to find an adhesive formulation of a thiol-vinyl system that cures under wet conditions to simplify vitrectomy procedures for retinal reattachment. The trithiol TMPTMP and vinyl TATATO system was found to have the least swelling due to its smaller average molecular weight distances between crosslinkings, forming a more tightly bounded polymer network. Future studies will modify monomer functionality to control degradation and conduct swelling tests at body temperature.

The diploma also provides opportunities to apply for several international certifications. The document lists instructor profiles and provides contact information for the program.
This document discusses the evidence for Christian faith. It begins by defining faith from both a biblical and modern perspective. While a dictionary defines faith as unquestioning belief without proof, the Bible describes faith as having evidence and being grounded in what we hope for but have not seen. The document then argues that true biblical faith is not blind belief without evidence, but rather involves examining the rational evidence for God's existence, such as Jesus appearing to disciples after his resurrection. Faith is founded on God's word and comes from hearing biblical messages, not mystical beliefs. Finally, faith functions through works, as true faith naturally results in good works, though works do not provide salvation - it is by faith alone we are saved.
Our relationship with God was broken by sin but God loved humanity and sent Jesus to restore it. To have a relationship with God, one must acknowledge they are a sinner separated from God, accept that Jesus as God's son died for our sins and rose from the dead, and personally invite Jesus into their life as their savior and lord. Developing this relationship brings meaning, purpose, and salvation with the promise of eternal life.
Tyron Joseph worked as a graphic designer for Trend and Design Consultants at Edgars from 2008 to 2010, where he showed strong relationship building and technical skills and was quickly promoted to Activewear Trend Consultant and then Trend Manager for Activewear and Menswear. As a valuable team player with a positive attitude, Tyron was able to execute complex design ideas visually using computer-aided design and helped establish a visual merchandising tool to assist buyers and visual teams. His former manager believes he will be an asset to any future team.

This document discusses strategies for teaching higher order thinking skills in social studies classrooms. It describes several activities teachers can use, including Taboo, where students describe key terms without using common associated words, developing deeper understanding. Opinion Corners ask students to physically position themselves based on their views on different issues and explain their reasoning. Mysteries present students with clues to solve a mystery together, building evidence-based explanations. These techniques encourage skills like inquiry, reasoning, and creative thinking, benefiting both student learning and teaching.
