Students in Class X are required to complete a project on one of three topics: Consumer Awareness, Social Issues, or Sustainable Development. The project aims to give students insight and practical understanding of their topic from an interdisciplinary social science perspective and enhance life skills. Students must apply social science concepts in a handwritten project report containing specific sections in a prescribed sequence, such as the front page, acknowledgements, and index. Creativity, neatness, inclusion of graphs and images will also be evaluated when projects are due on January 10th, 2022.

1. PROJECT WORK FOR CLASS X
SUBJECT- SOCIAL SCIENCE
•Every student has to compulsorily undertake any one project on
the following topics:
Consumer Awareness
OR
Social Issues
OR
Sustainable Development
•Objective: The overall objective of the project work is to help
students gain an insight and pragmatic understanding of the theme
and see all the Social Science disciplines from interdisciplinary
perspective. It should also help in enhancing the Life Skills of the
students. Students are expected to apply the Social Science
concepts that they have learnt over the years in order to prepare
the project report.
•The Project Report should be handwritten by the students
themselves.

2. •The project should contain following components in the
correct sequence.
The sequence of the project:
•Front Page- School Name, Student’s Name, Class,
Subject, Topic
•Acknowledgement
•Certificate
•Index- List of topics and sub topics covered under project
•Content (At least 25 pages)
•Creativity and neatness of the project will also be
evaluated.
•Student should include graphs, data and images to make
the project more efficient.
•Last date of project submission- 10/01/2022
