Collection and Implementation in Science
Classroom in secondary school
Background
 The government of Bangladesh have made a plan to
establish Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
as the main vehicle of socio-economic development. To
implement this plan, the ministry of education established
a large number of multimedia classroom in secondary level
school. But most of the secondary school teachers are not
efficient enough to utilize this modern technology for
their professional development which is the precondition
for quality education. Through this training, the secondary
school teachers will be able to operate the ICT tools and
web sites and will be familiar with the internet facilities
so that many updated science teaching concepts and
materials will be available for them.
Purpose:
 To improve quality of science education through
web based material for selected secondary
teacher in Bangladesh.
Objectives
 To introduce web-based science teaching materials.
 To motivate science teachers towards ICT.
 To upgrade the web-based skills of secondary science
teachers.
 To integrate ICT in science teaching.

Expected Outcomes or Results:
After completion of the project trainee teacher will be
able to-
 Demonstrate the use of internet technologies
 Navigate the internet and access to other web resources
 Utilize presentation software’s and digital recourses to
support instruction
 Design and develop instructional materials
 Integrate ICT and pedagogical

From the very beginning (initial planning) to the end (evaluating) project works
will run through the following steps.
 Step one: Initial Planning
 Step two: Need analysis and finalizing the plan
 Step four: practical Training
 Step five: Assessing, Evaluating and Reviewing
