Aneudi Diaz is a graphic designer based in New York City with over 10 years of experience. He received a Bachelor's degree in Communication Design from New York City College of Technology and an Associate's degree in Multimedia Programming and Design from Borough of Manhattan Community College. His previous roles include graphic designer positions at Saatchi & Saatchi, DirecTV Latin America, Acolyte LED Inc., and Music Choice where he designed PowerPoint presentations, templates, layouts, and graphics within tight deadlines.
This document discusses three online tools for creating and designing content: Yola for building websites, Wordle for generating word clouds, and Sumopaint for editing images.
This document provides examples and advice related to graphic design, fine art, and web interface design. It discusses concepts like Cubism, Bauhaus, logo design, type design, use of color, contrasts in density and rhythm, mise-en-scene, original artwork, stylistic conceits, movement in 2D surfaces, learning from others, and symmetrical vs asymmetrical presentations. Examples of websites, sketches, and artworks are referenced throughout to illustrate principles of effective visual communication and design.
This document provides examples of the author's portfolio work including motion graphics, 2D and 3D animation, illustration, font design, 3D architectural visualization, product visualization, and concept art. Some of the specific projects mentioned are banner ads for Admiral Markets, logo animations, architectural walkthroughs and renderings, textured 3D models, concept installations, and glass and metal product visualizations. The portfolio highlights the author's experience in 2D and 3D animation, modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and concept development.
This document outlines the design process used by Clikzy, including wireframing, mockup designs, and revisions. It begins with creating a basic wireframe layout without graphics. Then designers create mockup designs to transform the wireframe into a visually appealing website. Clients can provide unlimited revisions to refine the design until it meets their needs and vision. Examples are provided for websites designed for Crawford PR and Sally Hershberger that utilized techniques like whitespace, hover interactions, large imagery and typography, and calls to action.

The document discusses three web design trends: skeuomorphism, flat design, and parallax. Skeuomorphism imitates real-world textures and designs but can become dated. Flat design emphasizes clean lines, space, and typography but may lack visual interest. Parallax creates an illusion of depth and movement on websites through scrolling. The document provides pros and cons of each trend and recommends experimenting with flat and skeuomorphic designs.

At Creative Spark, we encourage our employees to host sharing sessions with the rest of the team about new trends and updates within the industry. Recently, Ltisch Amos, our senior Digital Designer, shared her knowledge in a sharing session on current and upcoming web design trends. We liked it so much that we uploaded a short video of her presentation onto YouTube.
Now you can view the entire slideshow on Slideshare - BOOM!
Ltisch focused on:
Flat Design - a distinct two-dimensional style that is simply...flat, devoid of embellishment, drop shadows or any other tools that add depth.
Parallax scrolling sites - this involves the website background moving at a slower rate to the foreground, creating a 3D effect as you scroll down the page.
Responsive design - A website should automatically switch to accommodate for resolution, image size and scripting abilities if a user switches from their laptop to their iPad, for example, thereby responding to the user's preferences and eliminating the need for a different design and development phase for each new gadget on the market.

Concept art is a form of illustration used to convey visual concepts in films, games, and other visual projects. It comes early in the creative process to develop characters, environments, and assets before final production. Common methods include sketching, painting, and photo editing. Concept artists must work quickly to explore multiple design ideas and set the visual style of a project. Their work is important for visualizing ideas, promoting projects, and aiding in 3D modeling and illustration.
The document discusses the design of short animated "stings" to advertise the Cherry and Lime brand. It outlines initial research on existing examples, then explores ideas for characters, animation, and environment to engage customers. These include retro-style cartoon characters interacting in a 3D space and incorporating the company logo and mission. The goal is to grab attention quickly through humor, emotion and memorable audio-visuals.
Throwback typography is becoming popular again in 2021 web design, with retro fonts paired with modern elements. Illustrations are increasingly using 3D to break out of the flat screen. Immersive multimedia websites are replacing in-person events. Designers are making grid lines visible as a bold, clean structural element. Custom cursors that interact with pages are drawing attention to the on-screen pointer.

"Rethinking Kållered │ From Big Box to a Reuse Hub: A Transformation Journey Toward Sustainability"
The booklet of my master’s thesis at the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology. (Gothenburg, Sweden)
This thesis explores the transformation of the vacated (2023) IKEA store in Kållered, Sweden, into a "Reuse Hub" addressing various user types. The project aims to create a model for circular and sustainable economic practices that promote resource efficiency, waste reduction, and a shift in societal overconsumption patterns.
Reuse, though crucial in the circular economy, is one of the least studied areas. Most materials with reuse potential, especially in the construction sector, are recycled (downcycled), causing a greater loss of resources and energy. My project addresses barriers to reuse, such as difficult access to materials, storage, and logistics issues.
Aims:
• Enhancing Access to Reclaimed Materials: Creating a hub for reclaimed construction materials for both institutional and individual needs.
• Promoting Circular Economy: Showcasing the potential and variety of reusable materials and how they can drive a circular economy.
• Fostering Community Engagement: Developing spaces for social interaction around reuse-focused stores and workshops.
• Raising Awareness: Transforming a former consumerist symbol into a center for circular practices.
Highlights:
• The project emphasizes cross-sector collaboration with producers and wholesalers to repurpose surplus materials before they enter the recycling phase.
• This project can serve as a prototype for reusing many idle commercial buildings in different scales and sizes.
• The findings indicate that transforming large vacant properties can support sustainable practices and present an economically attractive business model with high social returns at the same time.
• It highlights the potential of how sustainable practices in the construction sector can drive societal change.
