Trey Garrison worked on a guitar composition and creating an EP between October 26 and November 27, 2011. He finished writing the chorus and second verse on November 11th. On November 18th, he transitioned into the second chorus and finished the last verse. On November 26th, he started writing the outro for the first song. The next day, November 27th, he completed the first song by putting all the pieces together.
