Есть мнение, что старые традиционные НКО – уже устаревшая реальность. Существует много новых, гораздо более интересных игроков – неформальные группы, социальные предприниматели, автономные учреждения и т.д. Тем не менее, традиционные НКО – это институционализированная основа гражданского общества, в котором «добровольные объединения людей и государство выступают партнерами, где функционирование социальных институтов есть результат взаимодействия всех заинтересованных сторон, где поддерживается социальная ответственность бизнеса и любого гражданина, где преобладает атмосфера зрелых отношений доверия, а не слепой веры или страха» (Доверие и недоверие в условиях развития гражданского общества, НИУ ВШЭ, 2014). • Наличие институализированных практик очень важно. Входной порог в это сообщество – очень низкий: вообще нет границы, отделяющей НКО от общества. Разрыв между классическими НКО и гражданскими активистами – во многом поколенческий. И молодое поколение будет там очень востребовано. • НКО – это школа демократии. Польза от НКО, если судить с точки зрения общества, – воспитание более качественных граждан. Есть данные, которые доказывают, что люди, участвующие в жизни НКО, чаще других участвуют в различных гражданских практиках (Благотворительность и участие россиян в практиках гражданского общества, Москва, НИ ВШЭ, 2013). • НКО – это огромные возможности для самореализации активных людей • НКО - это профессионалы. Профессионализм - это проделанный НКО путь от энтузистов до экспертов. Многие из них начинали как энтузиасты, но в процессе работы поняли, что нужна система, посредническая, менеджерская деятельность, которая должна сделать эта работу максимально эффективной. • Эффективность деятельности НКО очень сложно посчитать. Экономическая эффективность не может быть в данном случае во главе угла, потому что оценивать работу НКО надо с помощью множества разных факторов. НКО всегда балансируют на грани эффективности и «душевности», поэтому всегда критикуются и за недостаток эффективности, и за недостаток «живой» инициативы и душевности, которая вытесняется при эффективном менеджменте. • НКО работают долго, в основном нацелены н

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management. The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM). Speakers: Bob Boule Robert Boule is a technology enthusiast with PASSION for technology and making things work along with a knack for helping others understand how things work. He comes with around 20 years of solution engineering experience in application security, software continuous delivery, and SaaS platforms.
