Proclamation on National Sanctity of Human Life Day, 2021, January 22, 2021. One of the last great achievements of the Trump administration and a guidepost and rebuke for the following administration.
Proclamation On Religious Freedom Day, 2021Ingo Breuer
The document is a proclamation by President Trump designating January 16th as Religious Freedom Day. It discusses the history of religious freedom in America from the Pilgrims to today. It highlights efforts by the Trump administration to protect religious freedom, such as executive orders protecting the rights of faith-based organizations. The proclamation calls on Americans to commemorate Religious Freedom Day and safeguard religious liberty in the US and worldwide.
In 1962, the Supreme Court ruled in Engel v. Vitale that a New York State school district's policy of starting each school day with a prayer violated the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment. The Court found that the prayer, which was written by the New York Board of Regents, constituted an establishment of religion by the State. While the school district argued the prayer was meant to encourage morality and good citizenship, the Court determined it was a religious exercise and therefore unconstitutional for schools to require it. The ruling reinforced the separation of church and state in public schools.

President Lyndon Johnson launched the War on Poverty as part of his Great Society programs in the 1960s to address issues of poverty, healthcare access, education, and civil rights in the U.S. Through new programs and legislation such as Medicaid, Medicare, the Higher Education Act, and the Immigration and Nationality Act, Johnson aimed to improve living standards and opportunities for Americans struggling with poverty, lack of healthcare, inadequate education, and discrimination. While the Great Society did not eliminate poverty, it had meaningful impacts by delivering healthcare to millions and improving education and legal protections.
This document provides an overview of key concepts related to the diversity of families, including defining family, types of families (e.g. single-parent, two-parent), functions of families, parenting styles, father involvement, families in transition (e.g. divorce, blended families), poverty, homelessness, and programs that provide assistance. Respect and support from teachers and administrators can help diverse families achieve emotional well-being.
Cultural competence in international adoptionbirmanta
Over 200,000 children from dozens of countries have been adopted internationally by American families in recent decades. While adoption rates have declined, thousands still occur annually. These adoptions often involve transracial placements that can be challenging as children must adjust to new cultures and identities. Current support services lack programs providing adoptive parents with attitudes, skills, and knowledge needed to promote positive ethnic identity development in their children. More is needed to address this issue and improve outcomes for international adoptees.

This document discusses being pro-life from a biblical perspective. It summarizes three key passages from the Gospel of Mark that portray Jesus' compassion for the vulnerable: 1) Jesus heals a man with a withered hand on the Sabbath, highlighting his concern for preserving life over legalism. 2) Jesus heals a woman with long-term bleeding, showing his power to restore life. 3) Jesus blesses children, expressing that the kingdom of God belongs to the innocent. The document urges Christians to expand their pro-life principles in line with Jesus' example of caring for the suffering.
The RH Bill is Pro-Life: De La Salle ProfessorsHarvey Diaz
The document is a statement from faculty members at De La Salle University expressing support for the Reproductive Health Bill in the Philippines. It summarizes the bill as [1] empowering women and the marginalized to make informed choices about reproductive health, [2] providing youth with knowledge to prevent unwanted pregnancies and abortions, and [3] ensuring allocation of funds for reproductive health as an important component of promoting quality of life. The faculty argue this aligns with Christian values of social responsibility and a healthy balance between population and resources.
Kenya Christian Professionals Forum (KCPF) is an organization founded to support the enhancement of family values in Kenya, with four key pillars namely Life, Family, Religion and Governance. This document discusses why there is a debate around health care in the United States. It begins by outlining that health care is considered a human right according to the UN Charter and various declarations that the US has signed. However, the US spends more on health care than any other country yet does not achieve similar health outcomes - it ranks below average on life expectancy and infant mortality. There are also significant disparities in health based on income, education levels, and race/ethnicity. Finally, the document notes that around 47 million Americans are uninsured, which can negatively impact individuals' health and financial security.

This document is a research paper arguing against same-sex marriage from a religious perspective. It discusses how religious groups were influential in passing Proposition 8 in California to ban same-sex marriage. It argues that allowing same-sex marriage will undermine traditional gender roles and family structures, increase divorce rates, and confuse children's understanding of sexuality and gender. The paper asserts that societies should adhere to a traditional interpretation of marriage and gender roles as defined by religious scripture in order to avoid these perceived negative consequences.
The document summarizes key aspects of the Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health Act of 2012 in the Philippines. It declares reproductive health and rights as human rights and aims to provide universal access to medically-safe reproductive healthcare services. It defines terms like reproductive health, family planning, and maternal health. It also establishes guiding principles like prioritizing the poor's needs and respecting individuals' religious convictions regarding family planning methods.
The document summarizes key points of the Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health Act of 2012 in the Philippines:
- It recognizes human rights including reproductive health and rights. The state aims to promote gender equality and women's empowerment.
- It guarantees universal access to medically-safe and legal reproductive healthcare services, especially for poor and marginalized groups.
- It aims to eradicate discriminatory practices that infringe on reproductive health rights, and promote openness to life through bringing forth only children that parents can support.

John Birch was a Baptist missionary from Macon, Georgia who dedicated his life to the service of the Lord Jesus Christ through mission work in China. John Birch spread the gospel of Jesus Christ by perfectly blending with the Chinese people. He helped churches and won people to the Lord through his witnessing and gospel tract ministry. During World War II he served the US Army Air Force. Back then the legitimate Chinese government under Chiang Kai-shek was an ally of the US. In 1945 the Chinese communists brutally butchered John Birch to death because the communists hated Americans and Christians in particular. Now we want to ask you to pray for the persecutors. John Birch became the first casualty of the Cold War.

This document discusses the origins of Santa Claus and argues that he is based on a real 4th century Christian bishop named Nicholas. It claims that teaching children about the historical Nicholas is better than misleading them about Santa Claus.

Proclamation On National Sanctity Of Human Life Day, 2021
1. 18.1.2021 Proclamation on National Sanctity of Human Life Day, 2021 | The White House
https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/proclamation-national-sanctity-human-life-day-2021/ 1/3
Every human life is a gi to the world. Whether born or unborn, young or old, healthy or sick,
every person is made in the holy image of God. The Almighty Creator gives unique talents,
beautiful dreams, and a great purpose to every person. On National Sanctity of Human Life Day,
we celebrate the wonder of human existence and renew our resolve to build a culture of life
where every person of every age is protected, valued, and cherished.
This month, we mark nearly 50 years since the United States Supreme Court’s Roe v.
Wade decision. This constitutionally flawed ruling overturned State laws that banned abortion,
and has resulted in the loss of more than 50 million innocent lives. But strong mothers,
courageous students, and incredible community members and people of faith are leading a
powerful movement to awaken America’s conscience and restore the belief that every life
is worthy of respect, protection, and care. Because of the devotion of countless pro-life
pioneers, the call for every person to recognize the sanctity of life is resounding more loudly in
America than ever before. Over the last decade, the rate of abortions has steadily decreased,
and today, more than three out of every four Americans support restrictions on abortion.
Since my first day in o ice, I have taken historic action to protect innocent lives at home and
abroad. I reinstituted and strengthened President Ronald Reagan’s Mexico City Policy, issued a
landmark pro-life rule to govern the use of Title Ten taxpayer funding, and took action to
protect the conscience rights of doctors, nurses, and organizations like the Little Sisters of the
Poor. My Administration has protected the vital role of faith-based adoption. At the United
Nations, I made clear that global bureaucrats have no business attacking the sovereignty of
nations that protect innocent life. Just a few months ago, our Nation also joined 32 other

countries in signing the Geneva Consensus Declaration, which bolsters global e orts to provide
better healthcare to women, protect all human life, and strengthen families.
As a Nation, restoring a culture of respect for the sacredness of life is fundamental to solving our
country’s most pressing problems. When each person is treated as a beloved child of God,
individuals can reach their full potential, communities will flourish, and America will be a place
of even greater hope and freedom. That is why it was my profound privilege to be the first
President in history to attend the March for Life, and it is what motives my actions to improve
our Nation’s adoption and foster care system, secure more funding for Down syndrome
research, and expand health services for single mothers. Over the past 4 years, I have appointed
more than 200 Federal judges who apply the Constitution as written, including three Supreme
Court Justices — Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett. I also increased the
child tax credit, so that mothers are financially supported as they take on the noble task of
raising strong and healthy children. And, recently, I signed an Executive Order on Protecting
Vulnerable Newborn and Infant Children, which defends the truth that every newborn baby has
the same rights as all other individuals to receive life-saving care.
The United States is a shining example of human rights for the world. However, some in
Washington are fighting to keep the United States among a small handful of nations — including
North Korea and China — that allow elective abortions a er 20 weeks. I join with countless
others who believe this is morally and fundamentally wrong, and today, I renew my call on the
Congress to pass legislation prohibiting late-term abortion.
Since the beginning, my Administration has been dedicated to li ing up every American, and
that starts with protecting the rights of the most vulnerable in our society — the unborn. On
National Sanctity of Human Life Day, we promise to continue speaking out for those who have
no voice. We vow to celebrate and support every heroic mother who chooses life. And we
resolve to defend the lives of every innocent and unborn child, each of whom can bring
unbelievable love, joy, beauty, and grace into our Nation and the entire world.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, by virtue of
the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby
proclaim January 22, 2021, as National Sanctity of Human Life Day. Today, I call on the
Congress to join me in protecting and defending the dignity of every human life, including those
not yet born. I call on the American people to continue to care for women in unexpected
pregnancies and to support adoption and foster care in a more meaningful way, so every child
can have a loving home. And finally, I ask every citizen of this great Nation to listen to the sound

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this seventeenth day of January, in the year
