This document discusses a Polish Easter tradition called "Lany Poniedziałek" where on the second day of Easter (Monday), young boys would pour water on young girls, especially in villages, as a pagan tradition. Nowadays, this tradition has changed where people of all ages go to families and friends and pour water or perfume on each other to celebrate.

13. In Poland we have some traditions
connected with Easter
celebrations. It is called „Lany
Poniedziałek ”because it is on the
second day of Easter, Monday and
it’s a pagan tradition of pouring
young girls by young boys with
water, especially in villages.
Nowadays this tradition is a little
bit changed and in villages and in
towns as well, people in all ages go
to their families and friends and
pour water or perfums on each
other. This is our Polish tradition!
