Jaguar Landrover employees volunteered their time to paint fences and build a bug hotel at Balsall Common Primary School. A team of 15 staff braved damp weather to paint the school's Key Stage 1 fences and construct the Nature Club's Bug Hotel. The project was a team building experience for Jaguar Landrover employees from different locations. The school thanked Darren Bell and the team for their hard work, which will protect the fences and allow children to enjoy the new bug hotel.
At Council Direct, our goal is to simplify the connection between the job seeker and Local Government employers. In the Search for the right job, Job Seekers can spend a lot of time on Job Boards searching through mountains of jobs that are often poorly cataloged. Jaguar Landrover goes green at Balsall Common Primary
Balsall Common Primary School went all green, and a little brown, with the help of Jaguar Landrover. Darren
Bell and a team of 15 staff gave up their time to brave the damp weather and paint all of the school’s Key
Stage1 fences and to build the Nature Club a Bug Hotel!
Darren Bell from Jaguar Landrover said “this has been a great team building experience as we all work out of
different locations and some of the people I have never met before. It’s also a good opportunity to do some
work that benefits the community.”
Howard Rose, Funding & Publicity Manager said: “I would like to offer Darren and his team a huge thank you
for all their hard work. The fences are now looking much smarter and will last much longer now that they are
protected. The children had no idea about the Bug Hotel and I am sure that they will all enjoy it not just the
Nature Club. Thank you to Howard Bradley for his magnificent construction and to Jaguar Landrover for
allowing their staff to complete the work, this is another example of the benefits to both sides when local
business work with schools.”
