AXA Affin General Insurance was awarded The Most Preferred Brand in General Insurance at The BrandLaureate SMEs Best Brand Awards 2011. The award was received by Admiral Datuk Mohd. Ramly bin Abu Bakar, the Chairman of AXA Affin General Insurance Berhad. Through an online poll among SMEs in Malaysia, AXA Affin General Insurance Berhad was voted the most preferred brand in general insurance. This award signifies that AXA Affin General Insurance has become the preferred choice among SMEs in Malaysia.

BrandLaureate SMEs Best Brand Awards 2011. The award ceremony was held on January 12th

Present to receive the award from The BrandLaureate Woman of the Year 2011,YBhg Datuk Jalilah
Baba, Director General of MIDA was YBhg Admiral Datuk Mohd. Ramly bin Abu Bakar, the
Chairman of AXA Affin General Insurance Berhad. Also present were Mr. Jahanath Muthusamy,
CEO of AXA Affin General Insurance Berhad; Ms. Gaelle Olivier, CEO of AXA Asia General
Insurance and the management staff of AXA Affin General Insurance.

SMEs. Through an online poll conducted by APBF among SMEs in Malaysia, AXA Affin General
Insurance Berhad was voted the most preferred brand in general insurance.
Thus, being conferred The Masters Award – The Most Preferred Brand is a defining moment as it is
