Virofiber was appointed by PT Enviro Tec architects to install their Virothatch roofing system at the new Sheraton Kuta Lifestyle Resort mega-development in Bali, Indonesia. The $70 million project includes a 250-meter beachfront lifestyle hub called Beachwalk with over 200 retail outlets, as well as a 200-room Sheraton hotel. Virofiber provided 110,000 square feet of their synthetic thatch roofing product, which is made from environmentally friendly HDPE rather than PVC, and passed ASTM fire safety standards. The resort aims to honor Bali's culture and heritage while following green building codes.
