INTRODUCTION
 Telengana is a state in southern India.Inthe
capital of Hyderabad,the charminar is a 16th-
century mosque with 4 arches supporting 4
towering minarets.The monument overlooks
the city’s long running Laad Bazaar.Once the
seat of the Qutb Shahi dynasty,the sprawling
Golaconda Fort is a former diamond –trading
center.In the city of Warangal,the centuries-
old Warangal Fort features carved stone
towers and gateway.

HISTORY OF TELANGANA
The Telengana is located in the grand
region,includes it’s governance by many rulers.It
was ruled by the Satavahana Dynasty(230 BCE To
220 CE),the Kakatiya Dynasty (1083-1323),the
Musunari Nayaka(1326-1356) ,the Delhi
Sultanate,the Bahmani Sultanate (1347-1512)
Golaconda Sultanate (1512-1687) and Asaf Kahi
dynasty (1724-1950)

LANGUAGE
 Telegu one of the classical languages of India
is the official language of Telengana and Urdu
is the second official language of the state.
About 77%of the population of Telengana
speak telugu and 12% speak Urdu


women , with flowers that grow exclusively in each
region. The festival is a pride of Telengana‘s cultural
identity .Bathukamma celebrates the inherent
relationship between earth,water, and
man.Vijaydashami also known as Dussehra or
navratri is an important Hindu festival celebrated in
Telengana. Bonalu is a Hindu festival where goddess
maha Kali is worshipped.

Iran Migrants to the region .Bidri art involve‘s using an alloy of copper and
zinc, called gun metal. Telangana is world wide for its amazing bronze casting
that require exquisite for creating increadible idols.Nirmal town is world
famous for its famous handicrafts .Nirmal arts involve use natural dyes to
create oil painting ,wall hanging ,etc.

Gusadi Dance, Kuchipudi Dance , Tribal
Dhindsa Dance ,Lambadi Dance ,etc .Burra
Katha is a form of Dance which has evolved

performed by a group of three main artists in

Soundararajan and name of the chief minister Sri Chandrashekhar
Reo. Government of Telangana is a democratically elected body that
governs the state of Telangana,India . The state government is
headed by the Governor and Lieutenant –Governors of states of
India Governor of Telangana as the nominal head of state , with a
democratically elected Chief Minister as the real head of executive.
The governor who is appointed for 5years appoints the Chief
Minister and his council of ministers. The state government maintain
