woman… Many
responsibilit
ies.
Many
roles….
A Winner all
the way.
You are today’s
woman…
…….. And in the busy schedule that you keep
whether you are a MOTHER, A Wife , A Career
woman, A Daughter,……….
Always celebrate the Power of being a
woman……………..
In Control of your life….
And you deserve to feel
young & good from Inside Out.
Why you need to take care early………
Starting in our 20s, the skin begins to slowly
and steadily age. Dead skin cells are not replaced
as quickly, collagen production slows and our
skin loses elasticity. Signs of this type of aging
include:
• Fine wrinkles
• Thinner skin
• A'hollow' look due to loss of fat below the skin
• Sagging skin, due to bone shrinkage
• Dry, itchy skin
What works the best………
Is Starting early…… and prevent.
Age control
And one of your best options is……..
Let us understand this better….
What is BOTOX®?
• BOTOX® is a natural, purified protein
that relaxes lines – causing muscles
creating a smoother, rejuvenated and
more youthful appearance
• A simple and quick, minimally
invasive non-surgical treatment that
delivers great, natural-looking results
• BOTOX® is the only product of its
kind with a recently published safety
record from 1966-2009
Did you know ?
Approved by the Govt
for Cerebral Palsy in 2
year old children.
10
How is it made/ where does it come from?
• BOTOX® is similar to penicillin coming from a mould.
• BOTOX® is extracted from bacteria and refined into a
medication.
• BOTOX® is proven to be a safe medication and is
approved for use in children with cerebral palsy (aged 2
years and above).
11
Is BOTOX® safe?
• BOTOX® has a proven and established safety profile.
• In a meta-analysis clinical paper where patients were
reviewed from 1966-2003, BOTOX® was found to have a
favourable safety and tolerability across a broad
spectrum of therapeutic uses (Naumann 2004).
• BOTOX® is approved for use in over 70 countries.
• Over 11 million BOTOX® cosmetic procedures performed
since 2002.
12
What are the side effects?
• Side effects are usually mild and temporary.
• The most common side effect is tenderness or bruising
at the site of injection
• Less frequent side effects can include headache,
temporary eyelid droop and nausea. (Refer to Product
Information)
• It is recommended that aspirin is avoided prior to
treatment and gentle pressure is applied immediately
after injection.
13
Who can administer BOTOX®?
• BOTOX® can be administered by:
- Only by a qualified doctor.
• All BOTOX® injectors should have been trained by
authorized Allergan BOTOX® trainers.
14
How is BOTOX® injected?
• BOTOX® is administered in a few tiny injections that relax
the muscle by blocking nerve impulses that trigger
wrinkle-causing muscle contractions.
• The discomfort is minimal and is often described as
similar to an ant bite sting for a few seconds.
• It can be injected during lunchtime with no downtime for
the client.
15
When will I see results and for how long?
• BOTOX® will begin to take effect at 2-3 days. Visible
results at 7 days and at its optimum at approx 30 days.
• Lasts 4-6 months, possibly longer depending on
individual.
• The result will wear off progressively - not suddenly.

Editor's Notes

  • #11 You may wish to explain the allergies with Penicillin against Botox
  • #26 This is a classic eyebrow shape, favoured by the 1950s Hollywood movie stars and generally favoured by older women.
  • #27 This is a younger, very fashionable look across Asia Pacific, made very popular by Kylie Minogue and Angelina Jolie. A review of Asian and Australasian fashion magazines indicates this look is very widespread. Softer versions are also possible with a more V-shaped brow with a softer lateral flare and slight downward curve at the lateral edge.
  • #28 This is a more masculine shaped brow and the natural shape of most teenage women who have not shaped their brows cosmetically. It is important to preserve this horizontal brow shape in a man as a flare or arch to the male brow would appear effeminate.
