How is it made/ where does it come from?

What are the side effects?
• Side effects are usually mild and temporary.
• The most common side effect is tenderness or bruising
at the site of injection
• Less frequent side effects can include headache,
temporary eyelid droop and nausea. (Refer to Product

• It is recommended that aspirin is avoided prior to
treatment and gentle pressure is applied immediately
after injection.

Who can administer BOTOX®?
• BOTOX® can be administered by:
- Only by a qualified doctor.
• All BOTOX® injectors should have been trained by
authorized Allergan BOTOX® trainers.

How is BOTOX® injected?
• BOTOX® is administered in a few tiny injections that relax
the muscle by blocking nerve impulses that trigger
wrinkle-causing muscle contractions.
• The discomfort is minimal and is often described as
similar to an ant bite sting for a few seconds.
• It can be injected during lunchtime with no downtime for
the client.

When will I see results and for how long?
• BOTOX® will begin to take effect at 2-3 days. Visible
results at 7 days and at its optimum at approx 30 days.
• Lasts 4-6 months, possibly longer depending on
individual.
• The result will wear off progressively - not suddenly.
