David Aufhauser is an experienced attorney and economic consultant who has
made valuable contributions to the U.S. Department of Treasury, the Department
of Justice Corporate Fraud Task Force, and the National Security Council. He
currently serves as a partner in the Washington, DC, law firm of Williams &
Connolly. In addition to handling litigation and counseling services at this private
firm, David Aufhauser serves as a senior advisor at the Center for Strategic and
International Studies.

Headquartered in Washington, DC, the Center for Strategic and International
Studies (CSIS) has been functioning as a prominent foreign policy think tank for
more than half a century. CSIS’ 220 full-time staff members and extensive
network of scholarly volunteers conduct research and critical analysis to create

anticipating political and social change .

The organization was established in 1862 by David M. Abshire and Admiral Arleigh
