GetWithTheFLO was an experimental media group run by abroad students in Florence, Italy that aimed to promote cultural events in the city to other students. They created a Twitter page to send messages about events and a linked Facebook page for broader outreach. While it provided more information about cultural activities beyond trips and nights out, it faced challenges including not having enough time to progress, competing with already established pages, and an overused target audience. There was potential for improvement through adding weekly specials, a question and answer section, blog, connections with other programs, and broader outreach.
