The IP address is known proxy
For example: Originally in Vietnam but IP in US
Automated Traffic via server

Undisclosed incent traffic
For example: Mix between incent and non-incent to raise/reduce the CR
1.2. Why we need to check Fraud
2. Fraud like Vietnamese
2.1. Choosing Network
- Check Review about this network (offervault.com, affpaying.com…)
- Check IP of their websites: check the confidentiality of the network (http://ping.eu/ns-whois/)
- Check Domain’s registration date: check how long this network has been set up
- Check Page’s index: Spelling mistakes, 404 Not Found
- Black Hat and Fraud’s Policy: strict or loose
- Offers: varied or few
- MinPay and Term of Payment
- Approval Process: strict or loose
- Check Google
- Talk to them to get to know
2. Fraud like Vietnamese
2.2. Registration
- Change the IP to another country. Some free websites to get IP
http://www.xroxy.com/proxylist.php
http://spys.ru/free-proxy-list
http://www.proxynova.com/proxy-server-list
http://gatherproxy.com/
- Search for 2 traffic sources on Internet which are similar to your websites (top app download…), check the IP of
these sources (www.whoise.net), get the host’s information of these domains and register with that.
- Prepare a professional email (not gmail, yahoo etc…)
- Find a company in the country you are using IP, get their address and telephone number.
- Register under a common name (John, Robin…) or a company name
- Prefer PayPal to Bank Transfer
- Or hire someone living in US to register for you (Drop)
2.3. FAQs by Account Managers
Questions Answers
1. What kind of traffic do you have? Banner, ppc pay per click (google adwords or facebook), SEO, Email, or social network
2. Can you describe you traffic? Give them websites you prepared. Read carefully “About us” to give them general detail
about your traffic.
3. Do you run Incent Offer? Say no. If say yes, you have to explain how you can run that (because most of VNese will
cheat on Incent)
4. How long have you been an affiliate? Most of networks require at least 1 year, so just say 1 year in case you make mistake, you
can blame on lack of experience
5. Which Geos do you have traffic from? Choose US or UK as a most common answer
6. Where did you hear about us? Search for a big forum (i.e. offervault.com, affpaying…)
7. Can you give a screenshot of your traffic source
or activities?
Find websites that have your Offers
8. How do you plan on generating traffic to our
offers?
I have a Google Ads account and I pay per clicks in my strategy. I choose offer…….to promote because I have some
great keywords are studied in each location has the highest conversion ability. I choose PPC because this is the
method I have more experience. I also focus on social networking site such as Facebook, Twitter and marketing of
posts on enzinaticle.com. I learned a SEO course and I am applying for my site. This is the method that I am focused
development.
8. How can your website attract that much people? - Google and keywords
- Email MKT etc
Notes - Be active and polite to your AM
- Sending email is better than Skype. Be careful with Time Zone
- Prefer female AM than male AM
- http://blogcungnhaukiemtien.blogspot.nl/2016/04/ia-chi-skype-cua-cac-am-network.html
2.4. Running Offers
+ Sock / Proxy / VPN: most common in Vietnam (Sock Vip72, CCProxi, Proxifer)
+ Tool-get-info: Create a fake ID for you (for CPA)
+ Bluestacks: run Android apps in computer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xNjs1tRGxl4)
+ Roboform: automatically fill in all the forms
+ Click&Clean add-on + Uer Agent add-on: Erase and Change Browser constantly
+ Click Farms: sweatshops of the online world. (difficult to track, but also difficult to set up)
+ Online Bot: software to impersonate human behavior.
+ Google AdSense
+ Impression Fraud (for CPM)
- Focus only 1 offer
- Same conversion everyday or sudden change (don’t be so greedy)
- Use 1 IP to run many non-incent offers
- Find out the acceptable CR (Non-Incent: around 2%, Incent: 3-5%)
- Change your IP and erase your cookies frequently
- Do ask for the reasons when receiving negative feedback or Fraud Warning
3. Fraud Detection Solutions
3.1. What we are doing now
- Fraud Check 3: Fraud Score for IPs conversion
- Fraud Check 7: Conversion Per Offer (using Time Frame)
- Fraud Profile on HO
- Conversion Rate
- CRM: Rating quality (not so much often)
- Tableau Service: 20 different parameters (GEO, OS, Transaction ID, traffic referrals, Date/Time, IP range and so on)
- Whitelist the IPs: forces conversion requests to be validated against a list of IP addresses or referrer domains
3. Fraud detection Solutions
3.2. My personal experience
- Figure it out their Conversion Rate trend
- Talk to them: the more they say, the more mistake they are likely to make
- Some common Advertisers and Offers they did Fraud: MOB, WDG, Aliexpress, Lazada and Castle Clash (easy to have lead and not heavy for
Proxy), US and UK…
- Compare performance to different Affiliates for the same offer
- Geographic and Demographic knowledge about Vietnam
