Ambition is a vital starting point for High Performance. Organisations need to have it, and need to articulate what it is.
So, what are the characteristics of High Performance ambition?
Ms. Lisa's class will focus on helping students achieve individual goals through a supportive classroom environment. Students will work on language arts, math, vocational, and life skills. They will use communication tools to discuss vocabulary and tell stories. Math instruction will incorporate sensory learning. The class will also study communities, people, and U.S. history. Parents will receive quarterly progress reports and teachers will communicate through daily journals.
This document provides guidance and examples to help students answer questions about media texts. It discusses the four main areas examined: media forms, representations, audiences, and institutions. Students are instructed to take detailed notes on elements like mise-en-scene, camera work, sound, and editing when analyzing clips. Sample questions look at how these technical elements create meaning and how texts target audiences. Institutional topics cover the advantages and disadvantages of independent productions versus working with major studios.
This map shows the Roman provinces in Hispania (modern Spain and Portugal) in the 1st century CE. It depicts the major cities and geographical features of the region, which was divided into three Roman provinces: Hispania Tarraconensis in the northeast, Baetica in the south, and Lusitania in the west. Trust in corporations is at an all-time low as advertising can no longer mislead consumers. America spends $150 billion annually on advertising, three times as much as any other country, but consumers pay attention to only around 15% of TV ads and click on just one out of 1,000 ads. People are now exposed to over 5,000 brand messages per day, more than double what previous generations received. To be effective, advertising may need to redefine itself by breaking down silos, sharing budgets across different touchpoints, and focusing on the entire customer experience.

This document discusses the abuse and lack of rights faced by domestic workers worldwide. It notes that there are over 53 million domestic workers globally, most of whom are women and girls. Domestic workers have historically been excluded from basic labor rights and protections. However, in 2011 the International Labour Organization adopted Convention 189, which guarantees domestic workers rights such as weekly days off, limits on work hours, and protection from violence. The convention aims to provide domestic workers with the same rights and protections as other workers. Several countries have since strengthened their laws for domestic workers. Organizing domestic workers and advocating for their rights continues to be important to fully achieve dignity and fair treatment on the job.

The document describes various games and activities to help students practice grammar points and vocabulary in an engaging way. Some of the activities include using props like cards, a magic board, or a picture to have students form sentences around a topic in groups. Games aim to get students moving and interacting with each other, like having them stand up when certain words are said in a song or act out prepositions with their hands. The goal is to make grammar practice fun through multi-sensory activities incorporating different learning styles.
Portable Design's proposed new office space will be located in the One North Dearborn building in Chicago. The space will total around 50,000 square feet spread across three floors, including areas for a reception area, furniture showroom, lounge spaces, cafeteria, gathering spaces, image/inspiration areas, game rooms, exercise rooms, music listening stations, bathrooms, storage, and employee areas. Key design elements include a bridge connecting the entry to the reception desk, an image wall providing inspiration, and yurts spread throughout as temporary meeting/gathering spaces. The overall experience of navigating the office is intended to feel nomadic like a journey.
An eating disorder is a condition affecting eating habits that can be self-inflicted or a bodily reaction to food. Anorexia nervosa is characterized by low body weight, distorted body image, and an obsessive fear of weight gain. Bulimia nervosa involves frequent episodes of binge eating followed by purging to avoid weight gain. Medical treatment for eating disorders includes nutritional therapy, counseling, and potentially hospitalization to restore healthy eating and weight.
Effective corporate strategy requires strong leadership, communication, and planning. A company must first develop its core team to share a vision and communicate the strategic plan throughout the organization. Examining customers and competitors allows a company to position itself to achieve its goals. Developing a succession plan with defined short and long-term goals provides leadership with focus and resources to punctually achieve key objectives. Consulting services can help develop cost-effective strategies, business plans, and align leaders to enhance employees and processes, bringing greater success.
Cait Carapella created an interim proposal for a medical headband called Transphoria to relieve anxiety through sensory stimulation.
