2. The Santa Ana volcano, located in the homonymous department in El Salvador, has a
height of 2,381 meters and is the highest in this country.1 Its last eruption occurred in
1920, 1904 and 2005.

3. The Tunco Beach is one of the most visited by those who love surfing and nightlife destinations.
A 37 km from San Salvador, the beach offers superb waves for surfing, sport professionals and
beginners eager to "tame" his first waves approach the beach to take their first surfing lessons.

4. The Jets are a Calera beautiful waterfalls found in Juayúa department of Sonsonate. It is ideal for
rappelling and take a refreshing swim. They are located 2 km from Juayúa.
Falling water in Spurts of Calera is about 20 meters and its waters are collected in two pools of about
fifteen feet long and seven wide, from which are continuing for other small falls.

5. Güija Lake is a lake in Central America whose surface is shared by El Salvador and Guatemala. It is located
on the northwestern border of El Salvador and eastern Guatemala, between the Salvadoran department
of Santa Ana and the Guatemalan department of Jutiapa, at a height of 430 meters. The lake has an area
of approximately 45 square kilometers.

6. El Puerto de La Libertad is one of the most popular tourist destinations in this country.5 has a tourist
complex that includes a boardwalk, restaurants and amphitheater, apart from the small seafood trade
and crafts located in the old wharf. The start of construction of the first phase of the work was
inaugurated on January 6, 2006,6 and fully completed in early 2010.
