Testing
• Tests are an assessment of qualities or characteristics
that are obtained through the observation and
classification of certain situations.
• To be useful tests require three essential elements:
To be standardized
 Determine Reliability
Validity
How tests can be applied
• Oral: apply verbally through questions and
answers.
• Translations: apply by written questions and
answers.
• Performing: apply by performing a job or task at
a time.
Psychological testing
 Aptitude test: measures the capacity of the person that’s
applying for a position.
Intelligence test: the objective is to measure the agility
and mental capacity.
 Personality test: help us to notice their emotions,
general behavior, reactions and self-confidence.
This applications and interpretation of personality tests
require the participation of a psychologist.

• This is a real test given by the human relations
department at many of the major corporations today.

• The research check and confirm the information
obtained from the applicant like:
Job History
Family History
Economic conditions
Recommendation Letters
Medical Exam
• To determine if the candidate is suffering from contagious
diseases.
• Know if have any conditions that may be a contraindication
for the job would be offered.

diseases to enter the job.
