3. SITUATION In Bon Pastor there are the ‘’Cheap Houses’’ were built in 1929. It the biggest of the 4 polygons op cheap houses of Barcelona. The others were called ‘’Eduardo Aunòs’’, ‘’Ramon Albó’’ and ‘’Baró the Viver’’. The demolition of 784 cheap Houses started in 2006 and people were sent to new blocks of flats . The factories that are near our area are Mercedes-Bend, Inoxcrom Puig, Burberry,… Bon Pastor has a surface of 200 ‘’hectares’’ and 10.000 inhabitants.

7. Bon Pastor school In 1939 the first school in Bon Pastor was inaugurated. It was only for girls. But the needed a building for boys. Then father Joan Cortines collected bottles to pay the building. In 1961 the first stone was set and in 1964 the school was opened. Our school is formed by preschool, primary and secundary school. In our school there are 600 pupiles aproximately.

9. Bernat Boil school There is another school in our neighbourdhood. Bernat Boil is a public school, it only has got pre-school and primary-school .

10. Library The library was inaugurated in Novembre 2004. Services: Bon Pastor library offers formation courses about information technology. The people that haven’t got a computer at home, can use the computers of the library.

11. La Maquinista La Maquinista was inaugurated in June 2000. It is the only open air shopping center in Barcelona. It is one of the biggest of Catalonia. It is situated in Bon Pastor neighbourdhood. There are 300 shops and 5 floors with 31.000m 2. There are cinema with 13 screens, skating in christmas and a lot of restaurants.

12. Market People buy here all types of food. You can find fishmanger, butcher, greengracer…

13. Sports center In our sports center there are: A swimming pool. A gym. Many changings rooms. A court.

14. Civic center It is a center where people do enterteinement activities. For exemple: dance, theatre…

15. Church It organice meeting for youth and give foot for poor people…

16. Health center Health center was inaugurated in 1976.
