MIT Skoltech Initiative
A postdoctoral position in experimental mechanics of active materials is available within MIT–
Skoltech Initiative. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to conduct research in residence
at MIT (Cambridge, USA), working on a collaborative interdisciplinary research project.
The selected applicant will receive a highly competitive compensation package (salary, housing al-
lowance, and medical insurance) along with discretionary funds to support research activities. Signif-
icant funds are allocated for laboratory equipment and facilities.
The initial duration of the appointment is 2 years with possible extension depending on performance.
