• Poseidon is the god of sea, earthquakes, and
  horses.
• Poseidon drives a chariot, holds a trident, but
  often changes shape.
• He is worshipped because of his navigation
  and being a fertility god.
• His responsibility: control the sea, and cause
  earthquakes.
• He is son of Cronus and Rhea.
• He is brother of five siblings.
• Poseidon’s wife is Amphirite, and had over 50
  kids with other women.
• When Poseidon was born he was swallowed by
  Cronus, but rescued by Zeus, or Rhea tricked
  Cronus, swallowing a horse instead.
• Odysseus wins the war (help of Poseidon). Lack of
  credit, Odysseus is punished.

• Poseidon, again, punishes Odysseus for blinding his
  son, Polyphemus.
• Poseidon is known to keep his promises(moral/value
  we hold today)
