Thenumberofcitizensdedicatedtotheprimarysectorrisesrapidly.
Sothisthesisisaboutthedesignofacomplexofbuildingsincludes
amodelschoolfornewtypefarmers,aculturecenterandanewtype
theaterinAthensatSyggrouestate.
Thestudyareahadbeenchosenduetoitshistoricalandeducational
background;thereislocatedtheInstituteofAgriculturalSciences,
thatreviewsconstantlyitseducationalprograms,attractingmore
andmoreaspiringyoungfarmersofdifferentages.
TheaimofourproposalistheconvertingofSyggrouestatetoa
metropolitanattractivesiteofforest,tomaintainitsruraland
culturalcharacter,andstrengthenitsecologicalimportance.
RespectingonIphigenia’sSyggroulegacy,inthebroadercontextof
ourdesign tobenefit citizensandfutureyoungfarmers,weformed
thesitethroughmildinterventions.
Weredesignedtrafficnetworksofvehiclesandpedestrians,points
ofstop, ofactivitiesandzonesof cultivations,creatingdifferent
qualitiesandintensitiesattheestate.
