who am I? 
Borja Martínez is a young graduate architect. Having completed a five-year curriculum he obtained the equivalent of a Master´s in Architectural Engineering from the University of Valladolid. In addition, he was granted a scholarship to take part in research for the Construction Department in the university, which gave him the opportunity to actively participate in the wood research team, where he developed multiple skills concerning wood rehabilitation. 
After several months travelling and working while learning English, mainly in Scotland (Edinburgh) but also in Australia (Sydney), he was finally granted another scholarship to work in Amsterdam for 6 months as an intern at “NAT Architecten”. 
Since then, he not only have worked as a team member but also have been responsible for three housing projects which have allowed him to work in all project development phases, from the first design sketches to putting together the final construction documents. In brief, he is competent with both design, rendering and all sort of technical drawings. 
Borja Martínez is now working as a junior architect at NAT architecten.

Museum and memorial to remember the 
battle of Medina de Rioseco, between 
the Spanish army and the French one. 
The museum is set just in front of the 
battlefield and the shape of the building 
and the garden memorial becomes from 
the study of the Castilian landscape. 
The research center is divided in different 
volumes (+) while the free areas in 
between those volumes are used to 
create an itinerary that generates the 
museum itself.
