The design process gives me a great deal of satisfaction where I can concentrate on my ultimate goal and still be creative and inspired by my memories of past places, spaces and the widely differing uses of raw materials. A visit to the site is sometimes a glimpse into the past where historical associations or cultural signatures have somehow left their mark on the environment and landscape which may inspire further curiosity into what might or could come next in the constant evolution of the built environment. Design is a process that engages all the senses and the outcome of what we produce or build will ultimately have an effect on everyone who uses or visits that place and the judgment of our work and our creativity may last for generations to come.

Do you ever wish there was a formula you could use to improve your audiovisual design for the people who use it? Well, there is!
In this talk I’ll introduce you to Human-centered Design, a framework for identifying and designing solutions for the people who use your products. You’ll learn how this approach can be leveraged to create solutions that resonate with your users, drive engagement and adoption, and ultimately deliver more meaningful experiences.
Human-centered Design is a design process that puts the user experience at the center of your design decisions. This framework includes tools to help you understand your users’ needs, generate ideas on how to solve them, test out prototypes of your solution with the people you’re designing for, and eventually get your innovative product out into the world.
The document proposes a 3D pen called the "Magic Pen" as an inexpensive and easy-to-use solution for creating 3D plastic objects without specialized knowledge or software. The pen uses plastic filaments that solidify instantly upon extrusion, allowing users to draw in three dimensions. It offers advantages over 3D printers in being more affordable, portable, and requiring no training. The proposed business model involves selling the pens along with accessories and filaments, with a target market of designers, educators, and creative professionals estimated to reach 170 million rubles by 2016. Development of the pen is underway and the team is seeking partners and investment to launch sales.

The document discusses 3D printing with precious metals. It describes how 3D printing can be used to create customized jewelry and other products in gold, silver and other precious metals. It emphasizes that developing the right strategy and manufacturing ecosystem is important for successful implementation of 3D printing. This involves integrating teams, defining pre-build and post-build processes, and using hybrid manufacturing techniques to leverage both traditional and 3D printing methods. Developing the right support systems and trial processes are also presented as key to producing repeatable designs when 3D printing with precious metals.
