Morocco Program 2014-2015 - Academic Magazine (digital)
This article analyzes the effect of government policies on female political participation in Morocco using Dahl's five criteria of democracy. While women have legal rights to participate, cultural and religious factors constrain effective participation. Quotas have increased the number of women in politics but they mainly occupy lower levels and decision-making positions remains low. Education initiatives have improved political knowledge but control of the political agenda remains limited due to their positions. Overall, government policies have made some progress but more is needed to achieve equality and overcome constraints to fully realize democratic participation for women.

This study focuses on the effectiveness of State and Non-state actors in combating human trafficking and ensuring safe migration of Zimbabwean women. The study relied on qualitative research methodology while data was gathered through primary and documentary search. Respondents were purposively selected from victims of human trafficking and organisations that deal with combating human trafficking. These included IOM, Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) Human Trafficking Desk, Ministry of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs. The study revealed that human trafficking in Zimbabwe thrives under conditions of vulnerability which are caused by various factors ranging from poverty, limited educational opportunities, poor economic conditions, gender and age. A strong relationship between Government and NGOs’ inadequate adherence to the Palermo Protocol standards and escalation of human trafficking was also exposed. Though Zimbabwean has several laws that deals with human trafficking, implementation of these laws still remains a challenge. The exclusion of women in the fight against terrorism is a violation of human rights and it should not be promoted. This goes in line with the international Convention on the Eradication of all forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW). Therefore, the purpose of this work is to showcase the fact that contrary to public opinion and gender perspectives that classify women as the weaker sex and have little or no role to play in issues like this, there is a part which can be done only by women in the fight against terrorism. Therefore, in this piece of work, we shall be looking at some prominent women in the world and the significant parts they have played in the fight against terrorism. The subsequent part of this work will be on a recommendation, things that must be done by every government to include and listen to women on matters that have to do not only with peace building but also with the fight against terrorism.
Evaluation report
The evaluation report summarizes an awareness campaign on violence against women conducted by mass communication students at a university. A pre-campaign survey found that 54% of female students were unaware of violence against women. The campaign used printed materials, posters, badges, ribbons, slogans, and a campus radio program to raise awareness of the issue over 23 days. On International Women's Day, a seminar was held with a multimedia presentation. Dilemma of Electorates when Corruption and Threat became a Culture
Most of the politicians usually adopted various techniques and strategies to get their ends beyond electoral integrity. One or either form of corrupt practices appears widely in India’s northeast too which greatly demeans democracy. The state of democracy in India’s northeast is clear example of flawed democracy where elections are in servitude. This study is based on quantitative and empirical methods through SPSS interpretation. THE ROLE OF WOMEN IN COUNTER-TERRORISM IN NIGERIA
The exclusion of women in the fight against terrorism is a violation of human rights and it should not be promoted. This goes in line with the international Convention on the Eradication of all forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW). Therefore, the purpose of this work is to showcase the fact that contrary to public opinion and gender perspectives that classify women as the weaker sex and have little or no role to play in issues like this, there is a part which can be done only by women in the fight against terrorism. Therefore, in this piece of work, we shall be looking at some prominent women in the world and the significant parts they have played in the fight against terrorism. The subsequent part of this work will be on a recommendation, things that must be done by every government to include and listen to women on matters that have to do not only with peace building but also with the fight against terrorism.

The evaluation report summarizes an awareness campaign on violence against women conducted by mass communication students at a university. A pre-campaign survey found that 54% of female students were unaware of violence against women. In the backdrop of various demands of different ethnic-based insurgencies, elections are also conducting in regular interval in this India’s Northeast. The state of democracy in India’s northeast is clear example of flawed democracy where elections are in servitude. This study is based on quantitative and empirical methods through SPSS interpretation. Sources of data were mainly from structured questionnaire collected on the basis of random sampling method from electorates of India’s northeast. In contemporary, many insurgent groups have been interfering in the elections since they entered peace dialogue with government of India. This paper attempts to analyse corrupt practices and modus operandi of electioneering practices. Majority of electorates were also on the whims of perpetrators.
