The Polaris ATV Challenge was the first event in India that allowed only all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) to participate, held August 16-18, 2009 near Jaipur and organized by Western Motorsports and Trans-Asia Distributions. The event featured two categories based on engine size and took place at the Clarks Amer hotel, with the ceremonial flag off performed by Mr. Anil Gautam from "Saahas". It highlighted several riders including Raj Singh Rathore as India's first competitive ATV rider and Anjali Sharma as India's first female competitive ATV rider.
