Poca, West Virginia is a small town located beside the Kanawha River and Poca River in Putnam County. Football is important to the town, as the high school team won state championships in 2001 and 2002. Poca High School also has a unique mascot, being known as the Poca Dots, which won Sports Illustrated's Most Unique Mascot award.
