I am very happy to offer an extremely positive reference for Paul Marriott. I have worked very
closely with Paul and the telehealth team that he leads, over the last three years. He has been
instrumental in ensuring the success of our innovative pregnancy telemedicine project, the first in
the UK. He has ensured appropriate support was available at all stages of development and
implementation. His team have worked effectively under his leadership allowing us to adjust and
improve the clinical management for our patients as the pathway developed.
We have also worked together in promoting the project at regional, national and international
levels with invited joint lectures and workshops in London (RCOG), Birmingham (National
Maternity Think Tank led by Baroness Cumberlege) and in Washington DC (US Armed Forces
Veterans' Association). The quality of the project reflects on the work put in by Paul and his team
and my own: the project was shortlisted for the finals of the national EHI Awards in 2014 and
received a CQC 'outstanding' commendation in 2015.
