2. Why is there a debate?
• So that Mr. Lindstrom knows that we know
how to use power point for a presentation.
• Also, to show that we can research a topic and
provide a stable and informative argument.
3. Playstation 3
• 80-160 Gigabyte of storage.
• Wi-Fi capability built into system.
• Free online gaming
• Blu-Ray player, that also plays DVDs and CDs
• USB ports, compatible with keyboard and
computer designed microphone
• Bluetooth capability
4. Price
• The 80 gig PS3 costs $399, but is well worth
the price, I should know, I own one.
• But the 160 gig costs $499, but I wouldn’t say
the extra 80 gigs are worth another $100.
5. Competition
• First off, the Wii is just awful, the only good
game for it is Wii sports and Super Smash
Brothers Brawl. The graphics are horrible for a
system of this day, and most games are
designed for children
6. Competition (continued)
• The Xbox 360 is the main competition and runs for as low
as $199. But with the $199 system, you have no hard drive,
which means you cant save anything.
• You can buy a hard drive for your $199 Xbox 360, but it will
cost $99, so why not just buy the $299 Xbox. But even then
the $299 Xbox is limited to online play only via an ethernet
cable, which most people don’t want to run through their
house.
• To make your Xbox 360 Wi-Fi capable, you must buy a
wireless adapter for $99, which in total equates to about
$400. And even then, you have to pay to play online. The
only Xbox exclusive game is Halo, which gets old after a
couple of months of playing.
7. Upcoming PS3 exclusive game
• MAG (Massive Action Game) is an upcoming
PS3 exclusive game.
• The game will utilize a new server architecture
to support online battles with up to 256
players, with users divided into 8-player
squads, with 4 squads forming a platoon, and
4 platoons forming a company.
• MAG is reported to arrive on store shelves in
the Fall of 2009.
