This document discusses and analyzes several photos by photographer Martin Parr. It examines four of his images - one featuring pink cake icing giving various focal points, another showing two children eating ice cream on a gloomy beach, one of people posing with the leaning tower of Pisa capturing holiday happiness, and a final one of a woman posing for a photo on vacation where the background is in focus rather than her. The document also includes the author's interpretations of some of Parr's photos and their own attempts to recreate a few of his styles in their own photos of cupcakes and a tea cup.
