Early Life and Education
• Born March 16th 1952 and immigrated to
Paris, France as a child.
• Mother was an Auschwitz survivor and
Father was a mechanical engineer.
• Studied math and music in college in
Switzerland and France.
• As a student, he developed software for
the MICRAL, the earliest non-kit PC
based on a microprocessor.
Career Path
• 1982-1994: Founder and CEO of Borland.
Developed Turbo Pascal, dBase, and Sidekick
for DOS.
• 1994-1998: Cofounder and CEO of Starfish
Software. Developed core IP for device
synchronization, particularly for the wireless
industry.
• 1998-2004: Cofounder and CEO of Lightsurf
Technologies. Developed first complete camera
phone and the software infrastructure for
electronic photography.
• 2004-Present: Cofounder and CEO of Fullpower
Technologies. Developed Motion-X technology.
