Grade 6 :
Best in Science
It was really not
about Science
Award but
Yesterday’s long
pants award…
First Year High School;
Grew up fourth in a very
disciplinarian patriarchal
family
It was probably
the influence of
the image-horse
nearer to me that
I become an
extrovert person…
Second Year High School:
Coming from a Fiesta
Horsefighting
My psychological
make up dictates an
animalistic attitude of
enjoing brutal vices….
Third year high school:
Christmas Vacation at
the hospital due to
motor racing accident
It was a dictate of a
philosophical attribute..thinking
that winning a race matters
most regardless of the clear
and present danger …
calculated risk was not yet the
idea.
Fourth Year High School:
CAT Cadette
Graduation…
I was thinking and
hoping that with the
military discipline… I
can face against all
odds… believing also
the blessing of a
priest…
3 College Engineering
Years;
Kissing the hands of my
eldest brother newly
ordained priest. after the
first holy mass .
I mirrored him as one of
the greatest preacher of
the Gospel Values…
thus… I changed the
course of time .. from
engineering to
philosophizing year…
1 Year old Seminary Philosophy:
Got involved in EDSA Revolution
in 1986
Purposely not fully aware
of the commitment in
attending a People
Power Revolution…
nonetheless. I began to
assimilate the effects of
social involvement…
A scenario in Batasang
Pambansa after People
Power:
Wondering in the middle of
the crowd
Philosophically when you
stand in the middle of
humanity…there would be
thousands of questions
lingering our minds…the
WHYs, WHATs, WHENs,
WHEREs and the HOWs
of the realities…
A visit to a huge American vessel
called DESTROYER before Pres.
Marcos was ousted..
Entering that metal
machines with full combat
sophisticated weapons
would creep into my mind…
a comparative analysis vis-
à-vis to the dilapidated tools
of our common farmers…
Can we use those said
weapons for insects and
unwanted grass….?
Using the smallest
banca to traverse local
communities:
…to concretize Philosophy we
want to know the pulse of the
people regarding their view of
life…. I know how to swim… but
I was scared how to save my
classmate if ever he has the
same faith with St Peter
drawning at sea…that child has
strong faith to his father
paddling the waves of life…
Philosophical Calesthenics
Mental calesthenics
should be coupled with
joy and happiness…
otherwise you will
reach in a road of
mental breakdown…
happines is not doing
what you like but in
liking what you do…
A Philosophical song from the
graduates: from 42 to 12
survivors
We survived but some of them
have passed from this world…
the rest are very
professionals…
Philosophically, we are both
in the batch of a Dead Poet
Society….nearing to the next
in line of the course of time…
Professionalism
is gender
development.
Whatever genetic dominant
composition, I have to
embrace gender
sensitivity….man and
woman are partners of
development in all aspects
of social management…
A farewell song for the local
community in Bunguiao,
Zamboanga City
Human integration to the tribal
people can be done thru the
science aid of philosophy and
psychology…existence and
behaviorism are eyeglasses of
understanding the culture of
solidarity and camaraderie…
Theology: Another
level of professionalism
This is an experience of
integration of faith and reason…
Theologizing bridges the science
of philosophy and
psychology….whatever questions
in thoughts, words, actions and
feelings, theological reflection can
lead us along the way towards
perfection…
Theologians from different walks
of life both local and
international….
Fr. Bernie Corpuz, Rector
at San Jacinto Seminary,
Tuguegarao City
International theologians
joining Western and Eastern
world….
..nonetheless.. We are all
missionaries by faith…
proclaiming the values of
the Gospel…of justice and
love… of equality and
harmony….
To my idea… God has the move in
playing game with us… today’s
problems need a divine and human
effort… yet ..teamwork matters most
to build a strong structure of mission
to society..
I was once a champion in
swimming in theological years…
perhaps.. I sustained the genetic
strength when I was a sperm cell
striving to enter into the egg cell
of success..
…thus..i must be a champion model of
the young generation…mirroring them
the spirit of enthusiasm and
dynamism…struggling to show what is
honesty and responsibility (Samar and
Basilan Youth Ministry & World Youth
Day Facilitator)
Lahar Area of Pampanga and
Zambales due to Mt. Pinatubo
Erruption. We excavated one of the
family house of a theologian…
…workers at the vineyard
deserve to cool
themselves against the
scorching heat of the
sun…(Zambales beach)
I never thought of becoming a
teacher… yet…
“Teach a child
What to Think and
you make him a
slave of
knowledge, but
Teach a child How
to Think and you
make knowledge
his slave.”
…nevertheless…I
ventured into another
avenue of life during my
regency year program…
entering into the world of
insurance and medical
business representative.…
that I happened to meet
a woman.. Swimming into
an intimate relationship…
my first and only wife…
challenged me to take up
Masteral at CSU all the way
to Doctoral program..
Life is a choice…(almost 14 years of
Seminary life).. indeed marriage is still a
christian vocation of commitment &
mission…
Family is the
basic unit of
society… to be
nurtured &
nourished…for
the
humanization
and unification
of the world..
Education is an endless
search for truth &
meaning… not so much
on wealth and
knowledge .. but on the
assigned values or
virtues attached to it..
What I am today is the result of my
decision yesterday…who am I by
tomorrow… is the outcome of my
plan today… In a nutshell…
decide… plan & dream …
Any time from now onward…I am
ready to swim for another chapter
of my life …bound for Calayan
Island…a CSU Extension
Program….
The dream of teaching item is on
the road to fulfillment…Indeed..
Opportunity counts most prior to
decision, plan & dream.. P.U.S.H.
Pray Until Something Happen…
etical concept of leadership based on alternative plan of action to achieve organizational
•Human resources availability thru tasking or delegation of some personnel.
