1. I am a graduate Mechanical Engineer of the North-West University Potchefstroom. I
have lots of knowledge working with CAD, Solidworks and C/C++ programming.
I am looking for the opportunity where I can make a real impact in the Engineering
environment as well as business and am ready to make the next step into a career
building role. As such I would like to work for an organization where I can be given the
opportunity to expand my knowledge of design and the theoretical knowledge of pure
Manufacturing and apply it to real life problems or situations. The ammunition field
intrigues me a lot. I have been reloading my own ammunition for sport shooting from
a young age. I would like to pursue a career in the ammunition field as well as structural
field. Being able to develop a solution to a given problem that requires one to think
outside of the box is what I live for. I am busy with doing my glider pilots licence with
the aim of obtaining my private pilot’s license. The aerospace also interests me a lot.
I’m also passionate about designing and testing new concepts. I aim to do my masters
and doctorate part time in a mechatronic field. I also want to register with ECSA as a
professional engineer and do my government ticket as well.
I have previous experience of working in a Mechanical workshop where the main focus
was on repairing interlink trailers as well as building and extending of new trailers. I
also have experience in the processing of B-grade wire into usable products. In total I
have nearly thirteen months of practical experience encountering real life mechanical
situations. I also have seventeen months of low voltage electrical experience as well
as management and maintenance.
I am very willing to relocate as I am keen to gain a full-time position working within an
Engineering department using the above skills and capabilities and learning new
trades every day.
I am able to give my best and work directly with leading engineers so that I can gain
further hands on experience. I am flexible, and adaptable, and able to pick ideas up
quickly and take action, under instruction, and meet project objectives and
deliverables.
