• Taquiri dalam Newstrom dan Davis (1977)
pula menyatakan konflik merupakan
warisan kehidupan sosial yang boleh
berlaku dalam pelbagai keadaan akibat
daripada berbangkitnya keadaan
ketidaksetujuan, kontroversi dan
pertentangan di antara dua atau lebih
pihak secara berterusan.

PUNCA-PUNCA KONFLIK
• Ada tiga kelompok besar yang disebut sebagai
sumber konflik di tempat kerja, iaitu:
1. Konflik kerana kesalah fahaman ketika
berkomunikasi (cara berbual, sikap, dan alat
komunikasi misalnya),
2. Perbezaan individu (kepentingan, nilai,
pengalaman, dan lain-lain), dan
3. Pekerjaan (jenis kerja, penggunaan kemudahan
tempat kerja, pembahagian tugas, dan
sebagainya).

BEBERAPA PANDUAN TENTANG
PENYELESAIAN KONFLIK
 
• Mempastikan komunikasi antara pihak yang terlibat sentiasa
dikekalkan.
• Cuba seberapa boleh mendapatkan penyelesaian menang-
menang bagi kedua-dua pihak.
• Gunakan mediator jika konflik tidak dapat diselesaikan oleh
pihak-pihak yang bertelingkah.
• Kenalpasti sifat-sifat agresif, suka mendesak dan pasif supaya
konflik boleh cegah dan dihindarkan.
