This document provides instructions for a class interview assignment in Chinese where students work with a partner to understand sentences, interview 6 classmates they don't have class with to get their name, number of family members, number of pets, who they think is famous, if they like singing or dancing, what movies they like, and if they prefer movies or sports. Students are to conduct the interview and write responses in Chinese characters.

朋朋在 Los Angeles 住。因为在他很小的时候,他的父母都死
了,所以他和他的哥哥在小的房子里住。朋朋不跟别人一样。他看
不见,他是盲人。
虽然朋朋什么都看不见,但是他想要做画家。他什么颜色都看
不到,可是他爱 the feel of the paintbrush in 他的 hand 和 the
precision of strokes。他常常画画,可是,在朋朋画画的时候,他的
哥哥非常生气。他对朋朋说:“你是不可以做画家的!你又笨又不
一样!你的眼睛看不见, 所以你不会做大事儿! 看一看你的画! 你
的画都没有 value!” 朋朋听了哥哥的话,很难过,可是他对自

locker 里。 因为朋朋找不到的 paintbrushes,所以,在艺术课的时
候,他只可以用 finger 画画。
因为朋朋的哥哥生朋朋的气,所以放学的时候,朋朋不想要回
家。 朋朋一个人坐在教室里哭。有一天,一个 janitor 听到他哭,

了他为什么很难过。Janitor 对朋朋说:“没关系的,我会让你用我
的 paintbrushes, 但是你要 promise 我,你不会不画画!”朋朋说:
“以前我觉得我自己可以画画,虽然我看不见。可是现在,我觉得
我不可以画画了,因为我看不见,没有人想要帮我和做我的朋友!”
Janitor 回答,“我也看不见,可是我的爱好也是画画。看不见没关
系,让我来教你怎么画画,即使你没有很好的眼睛!”
所以,每天放学的时候,janitor 教朋朋怎么画画。 朋朋练习,
和一点一点地,朋朋可以画很漂亮的和很不一样的画。Janitor 常常
对朋朋说:“我们跟别人不一样。因为我们比别人更 more attuned
