• Detective Sergeant G.N.I.B; November 2007 to first May 2015 - Dublin Airport.
Supervision of twenty four Gardaí at Dublin Airport Immigration Section.
Prevention of illegal immigration into the State.
Safe return of individuals refused entry, to Europe mainland and North Africa.
Control of charter flights for illegal immigrants repatriated to their home countries.
Advance team leader to Lagos for repatriation flights
Trained as Escort Leader for such flights with 'Frontex' organisation in Amsterdam.
• Uniform Sergeant; December 1999 to November 2007 – Raheny Garda Station.
Supervision of up to eight Gardaí and charge of Community Policing Unit Raheny.
Dublin handler for 'Hippocrates' project, liaising with Swedish and English Police forces.
This project dealt with underage drinking and possible solutions.
• District Detective Unit; August 1993 to November 2007 – Malahide Garda Station.
Murder , Arson and Burglary investigations.
Patrol and liasion duties
• Special Detective Unit; January 1982 to August 1993 – Dublin Castle/Harcourt
Square/Garda H.Q Phoenix Park.
All subversive crime policing with eight years in surveillance/ undercover work.
A founding member of the National Surveillance Unit.(N.S.U)
