You need to load film in your SLR camera over half term and take photos influenced by your chosen black and white city photographer. Check your camera settings, ensuring the light meter is set to '0'. Take a black and white film this week creating interpretations of the photographer you studied, and present all your term's work and annotations in your sketchbook by the deadline of Tuesday 31st October.
To take successful black and white photographs, students must research a traditional black and white photographer for inspiration. They should practice using their DSLR camera in manual mode to take a shoot inspired by the chosen photographer. By Monday, students need to have their inspired shoot ready on a memory stick and have completed a double-page sketchbook entry about the photographer.
The document provides instructions for students to practice using their DSLR camera in manual mode by taking photos of the city fully manually. They are also tasked with researching a traditional black and white photographer for inspiration for their next shoot, which is due on October 17th. Students must ensure they have an SLR camera to complete the assigned tasks.

The class investigated how much water they waste when brushing their teeth after learning about World Water Day. Five students measured the amount of water they used, which ranged from 625 ml to 6 l. On average, each student used 2.5 l per brushing. With twice daily brushing, the class wastes 155 l per day or 1085 l per week brushing their teeth by leaving the tap running. This amounts to over half a million liters wasted per year, almost as much water as the local swimming pool holds. The next step is to measure how much water could be saved by turning off the tap while brushing teeth.

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375
