William Chase founded The Chase School in 1896 as a rebellious gesture against the Art Students League of New York. In 1904, Frank Alvah Parsons joined as an art educator and later became the sole director, changing the name to Parsons. Parsons offers degrees including a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design, which would involve around 31 classes over 4 years. Tuition is currently $19,640 per term for a flat rate of 12-19 credits.
