This document outlines plans for improvements to a park and nature trail located near Siena College. It proposes adding a crosswalk signal, pathway, and signage to better connect the trail to nearby streets and increase safety. It also suggests building a 1050 foot walkway around a pond and extending it to the parking lot. A survey found most students were unaware of the park but interested in using it for exercise and aesthetics. The improvements could increase property values and taxes in neighboring zones, which may cancel out the costs to implement the plans.
