This document provides information about PermaTherm architectural insulating panels, including their thermal resistance values (R-values) at different thicknesses. The R-values range from 8.34 for 2-inch panels to 50.04 for 12-inch panels. All values listed assume the panels use Type 1 expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam with a density of 1 pound per cubic foot as the core material. Higher R-values can be achieved using higher density EPS foam cores, which are also available from PermaTherm.
