Sanskrit also mentions Palmistry being the part of Hindu practises as Jyotish.
The art of Palmistry never remained limited to India, countries like
China,Tibet,Israel and Persia also practised the art form.

The major analysis done while performing Palmistry is of a palm of an individual.
The hand is seeked by a palm reader, for the hidden meanings of life of a
particular person and also the characteristics he/she has.
The size of the hand, the lines on the palm and mounts of the palm are inspected
to classify the hand type.
Generally, the reading is done of the dominant hand of a person i.e Right hand for
the right handed and so on.
