2. Horses are mammals . They have legs, their bodies are covered with hair and fur. They are viviparous. They have mamary glands. They feed on different things.

3. The horse and the chariot were introduced into Egypt late in its history. In about 1500 b.C.

4. Chariots were pulled by two horses and were used in battles. They were also used for special occasions and to catch animals.

5. Horses were looked after in Egypt and their rarity and novelty meant that they were a status symbol only for rich people.

6. They were well looked after and they had individual names. They were sent to the best stables.
