The 56th Junior High School of Athens is a historic school located 3.5 km from downtown Athens that has 273 students and 30 teachers from diverse backgrounds. Students at the school originate from 26 different countries across 4 continents and represent 18 different religions and cultures. In addition to its academic programs, the school offers extracurricular activities centered around robotics, the environment, and creative arts to foster cooperation and expression.
